Keep Opelika Beautiful (KOB) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization operating in Opelika, Alabama (population 28,635). KOB is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and Keep Alabama Beautiful. Many successes of KOB are attributed to the partnerships with other organizations, businesses and local government. The day to day operations are run by an executive director. A 15-member board of directors oversees all work. Keep Opelika Beautiful pursues the focus areas, beautification, recycling and litter prevention, by hands-on programs, recycling events, engaging students and identifying environmental stewards of our community.
